FLOURISHING
21 SEPTEMBER
2023
On Stage: Cast
You don’t have to be an established performer to be a part of Flourishing. All we ask is a willingness to learn and a commitment to showing up each week and giving it your best shot. Think of this as a chance to uncover talent you didn’t know you had or the opportunity to hone your skills. We are looking for actors, singers and dancers with experience as well as anyone who loves to sing in the shower, dance in their pyjamas or play pretend! We will be holding auditions for lead roles but all other casting will happen in a fun, safe and nurturing workshop environment.
A unique experience
Taking a learning by doing approach, Art For People's Sake offers exceptional training in multidisciplinary performing arts for all levels from beginner through to professional in a safe and supportive environment. No experience necessary and no audition process (only for potential lead performers).
Rehearsals are conducted in a manner similar to that of a workshop. Participants are coached in singing, acting and dance/movement while learning specific roles, vocal arrangements and choreographies for performance. We take the time to ensure that performers are grasping all concepts and adapt the learning environment to suit their individual needs. We make an effort to get to know our performers so that they can reach their full potential.
We promote connection, community and empowerment in an environment fostering self esteem, self worth and general wellbeing.
