About LifeCare
Crossway LifeCare is a community services organisation and registered charity passionate about helping people in tough places flourish. Our range of integrated services include counselling, family violence recovery support, a volunteer-led community mentoring program, and a community pantry. We have 35 staff and strong base of about 150 volunteers to support our service delivery.
We are a faith based but not faith biased organisation. Crossway LifeCare works with people irrespective of religion, race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. We aim to model grace, compassion, trust, and integrity within our team and to others. Each staff member is committed to a code of conduct that reflects these values.
Counselling
Our team provides confidential, caring and holistic counselling to couples, families and individuals of all ages for a wide range of life situations.

Our fee schedule and subsidy assistance aims to make this service affordable. We provide face to face and telehealth counselling options.
Family Violence Recovery
We provide individual case support, child care services, as well as occasional short-term programs such as art therapy and an alumni social group.

Our year-long group therapy program, ‘Courage to Heal’, provides trauma recovery for women who have experienced family violence.
COACH Mentoring

Meeting for one hour each week for at least one year, the mentor builds relationship with the participant with an aim to empower them to set some key goals and achieve them. We also offer kids, youth, family & financial COACH. Chinese COACH offers mentoring that is consistent with Chinese cultures.
Community Connections
Our community-led services aim to facilitate ongoing communities that empower LifeCare clients, particularly individuals and families experiencing loneliness and isolation, to find belonging and empowerment. Our community pantry provides emergency food support for local households.
